Jannie Lymann, owner and head designer of NÜ, grew up on the west coast of Jutland, where the raw and wild beauty of nature has been a constant source of inspiration. Since founding NÜ in 1997, Jannie has created collections that reflect the strength and elegance of the North Sea and celebrate femininity, independence and versatility.
"The sea has always been a powerful source of inspiration for me. Growing up close to the wild and unforgiving nature of the North Sea has shaped the foundation of many collections."
With a vision to offer luxurious quality fashion with raw, feminine and sophisticated simplicity, she leads a dedicated team and ensures ethical production and good working conditions.
Jannie adds: "Much of my inspiration also comes from the countless strong women around me - from our team here at NÜ to the amazing women who wear our designs. Their strength and diversity drives me to create fashion that celebrates femininity, independence and daring to stand out."
To find work-life balance, Jannie enjoys long walks in nature.
"For me, the key to balance is finding time for myself where I can recharge and find inspiration. Nature gives me a respite for reflection and recharging," she says, which helps her return to her tasks with renewed energy and clarity.
